Bircham University’s Herbology & Phytotherapy program discusses modern practices of herbology whilst also taking aspects of different cultures into account. The Herbology & Phytotherapy program classifies the herbal prescriptions used to treat various illnesses and diseases depending on the organs they influence. As well as this, the program covers the fundamentals of growing, drying, storing and cooking herbs, along with the making of infusions, decoctions, oils and ointments.
