UIC’s degree in Bioengineering will allow participants to specialise as an engineer in the field of dental prosthetics and/or ortho-prosthetics. Reliant on the specialisation participants choose, from the second year onwards they will use knowledge of dentistry or medicine and physiotherapy together with engineering-specific scientific and technical skills, to fit dental prosthetics or orthotics and offer patients full or almost full assimilation into society or guarantee them an improved physical or aesthetic look.
