With the new Master’s Degree in Urgent and Emergency Care at UIC Barcelona, you will have the chance to specialise in the care of patients who enter hospital through the emergency services and improve your knowledge of how to deal with emergency situations both in and outside hospital. This program is an on-site course, with a teaching staff comprised of expert professionals from the arena of urgent and emergency care, that will be taught using modern healthcare training methods grounded in practical experience. At the end of the course, students will be expected to provide evidence of their knowledge by way of a Final Master’s Degree Project. As well as, enhancing and widening the knowledge, skills and mindsets required to deliver urgent care, with this degree, students will earn an official qualification (valid in the European Higher Education Area) and also earn other specific certificates. These certificates include Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support, issued by the Catalan Resuscitation Council and the European Resuscitation Council; and Mass Casualty Incident Command, issued by TASSICA Emergency, Training & Research.
