Wellesley College is a private, nonprofit liberal arts college for women in Wellesley, Massachusetts, a short bus or train ride from Boston and Cambridge. It was founded in 1870 by Pauline and Henry Fowle Durant and teaches undergraduates only. Its 500-acre campus includes a Science Complex with an observatory and botanic gardens, the Davis Museum, the Jewett Arts Center and the Keohane Sports Center.
