Armenia is located in western Asia.
Armenia borders on the north with Georgia, on the west with Azerbaijan, on the east with Iran and Nakhichevan, and on the west with Turkey.
The land of Armenia is mountainous and wooded. It also has high plateaus totally voided of trees. Armenia has several well known cities, some ancient and some more modern.
The capital is Yerevan, and it is the largest city in Armenia.
Another large city is Gyumri.
The third largest city in Armenia is Vanadzor.
