Getting Visas to Hungary

Citizens of the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) do not need a student visa to enter Hungary. Students from other countries must arrange their student visa before arriving to Hungary. Arranging for your visa may take 60 days although it is usually issued within 4 weeks.

You will need your valid passport as well as the Acceptance Letter from the university/college in English and in Hungarian and a bank receipt of transfer of tuition fee payment or a Payment Certificate from the university or from College International.
