Getting Visas to Monaco

Nationals of the following countries are not required to obtain a visa: Austria, Canada, Czech Rep, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, United States and Vatican City. The said citizens can stay in Monaco for up to 90 days.

Requirements for tourist visa are the following: visa application form, valid passport (6 months validity), photographs passport size, evidence of enough funds to spend during the period of stay, hotel information and addresses, and copy of round trip ticket or confirmed itinerary. While the additional requirements for business visa are business letter with company letterhead indicating the purpose, duration of the visit, name and address of the company to be visited, invitation letter from company host in Monaco, hotel information and addresses, and a financial guarantee from the company. If a minor will travel independently, a notarized parental authorization which signed either by guardian or parents is required. But if the minor is accompanied by 1 parent during the trip, the signed authorization by the 2nd parent is still needed.

Please do take note that the applicant must apply in person at the Consulate of France and the time needed to issue a visa is 3 days to 2 weeks depends on the nationality. The terms of payment for processing a visa are thru cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
