Getting Visas to Venezuela
Nationals of the following countries are not required to obtain a tourist visa: Andorra, Argentina , Australia , Brazil , Canada , Costa Rica , Guatemala , Japan , Malaysia , Mexico , New Zealand , Norway , Panama , Paraguay , Switzerland , South Africa , Taiwan , Uruguay and United States of America. Visa is valid up to 90 days. However, the said countries that are exempted for tourist visa is oblige to get Tourist Entry Card, which released by an authorized air transporter and the charge is free.
The following are requirements for tourist visa: visa application form, valid passport (6 months validity) with 1 full blank page, photographs passport size, copy of round trip ticket, evidence of purpose of trip, tourist entry card, stamped and self-addressed envelope.
For student visa, the requirements are the same for tourist visa and in addition, an admission letter from educational institution and evidence of academic degrees. While the additional requirements for business visa are business letter with company letterhead indicating the purpose, duration of the visit, name and address of the company to be visited and a financial assurance from the company.
The cost for multiple-entry tourist visa is £21.90; multiple-entry for student and business purpose is £43.80, single-entry for transit is £21.90 and there is no charge for tourist entry card for single-entry which is obtainable at the check-in desk before departure. The time needed to issue a tourist and student visa is 3 days. Validity of tourist and business visa is up to 1 year and the maximum for transit is 72 hours.
