Concordia University is a university in Montreal, Quebec, with two campuses: Sir George Williams (SGW) in downtown Montreal and Loyola, on Sherbrooke Street West. According to the university, it has about 50,000 students, including more than 11,000 international students from 150 countries.
Teaching and research are organised in six faculties and schools:
- Faculty of Arts and Science
- Faculty of Fine Arts
- Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science
- John Molson School of Business
- School of Health
- School of Graduate Studies
Undergraduate degrees include the BA, BComm, BCompSc, BEd, BEng, BFA and BSc, taken as a major, minor, honours or specialisation, alongside certificates and microprograms; graduate, continuing and executive education are also offered. Many programmes have a co-op or internship option, and the Institute for Co-operative Education organises paid, full-time internships in the student's field; more than 4,400 students take part in co-op.
First-year students can live in residence on either campus, with meals included; residence was full for fall 2026. An International Students Office advises on immigration documents, health insurance and living and working in Canada. Applications are made online, with a non-refundable application fee of CA$103. The campuses have two medical clinics and 13 Stingers varsity teams and clubs.
