Eduespaña organizes Spanish Language and Literature Programs for High School Students, which are CEELE-accredited and sponsored by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. The purpose of these courses is to give an opportunity for U.S. high school students (aged 15-19) to improve their Spanish language skills and their knowledge of Spanish literature. Canadian students in the same age range are able to participate, too. An important factor is that for the Spanish Literature Program, an advanced level of Spanish is required. The program is organized into 60 class hours over three weeks, while the size of classes is limited to 12 students. Students practice taking AP exams and are encouraged to greatly develop their communication skills.
