Physics, the most basic of all the sciences, is a vital part of many other fields, including chemistry, earth science, astronomy, biology and engineering. Students can study a major or minor in Physics, a demanding lab-based syllabus with first-class facilities at Suffolk and chances to study abroad.
With the physics major, students can learn about the whole universe from the biggest galaxies to the minutest particles. Students will take lessons in electricity and magnetism, classical and quantum mechanics and modern physics.
Concentrations include Astrophysics and Planetary Science.
Bircham University’s Physics program offers a clear and logical presentation of the notions and principles of physics.
Subjects covered on this course include: Physics, Electricity & Magnetism, Nature of Light, Mechanics: Statics, Mechanics: Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Propagation, Relativity, Modern Physics, Spectroscopy, Optics, Cosmology & Astrophysics.
The Physics course is available at Specialist, Expert, Bachelor's, Master's & Ph.D. (Doctoral) Degree program levels.
