Cégep de Drummondville (Cégep Drummond) is a college (cégep) in Drummondville, in central Quebec (Canada). According to the college, it welcomes hundreds of international students every year. Most international applicants must pass a French test.
The college offers:
- 8 two-year pre-university DEC programmes that prepare for university
- 15 three-year technical DEC programmes, in fields such as nursing, computing, mechanical engineering, early childhood education and administration
- 16 double DEC combinations (two pre-university DECs in three years)
- 18 short AEC programmes for adults, recognition of prior learning (RAC) and French-language courses (francisation)
International students apply online through the Service régional d’admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM). French nationals pay the same fees as Quebec residents; other international students in technical DEC programmes may receive a scholarship of CA$14,000 per year with health insurance (RAMQ) or an exemption from supplementary tuition fees. The college has student residences on campus and lists off-campus housing nearby. Its sports teams, the Voltigeurs, compete in 16 sports.
