The Cégep de Lévis is a cégep, a college of higher education funded by the Quebec government, in Lévis, Quebec (Canada). It offers 35 regular programmes and profiles in two main tracks: pre-university programmes, which prepare students for university, and technical programmes, which lead to employment; it also offers short attestation (AEC) programmes and continuing education. Teaching is in French.

Most programmes are open to international students for the fall intake, including:

  • Sciences de la nature and Sciences humaines (pre-university)
  • Langues, Arts visuels, Cinéma and Histoire et civilisation
  • Administration et gestion and Services financiers et d'assurances
  • Informatique, Génie électrique and Génie mécanique
  • Biotechnologies and Chimie analytique
  • Soins infirmiers (nursing) and Architecture

Several programmes include paid work-study placements, and DEC-BAC agreements with universities can give credit for up to a year of university studies. International applicants apply through the Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ). Students can live in the college's furnished residences next to the campus.

  • Pay a CA$5,000 tuition deposit before receiving the official admission letter (except French nationals)
  • Then apply for a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), a study permit and a visa or eTA; allow at least 12 weeks for immigration documents

Financial Aid

The Fédération des cégeps awards a number of renewable scholarships to international students at each college; the call for applications is at the end of February for fall admission. The Quebec government also grants a limited number of exemptions from the supplementary tuition fees for priority programmes, selected by the college. Students can also ask their own country's education ministry or the Canadian or Quebec representation about scholarships.

Housing

The college has five furnished residence buildings next to the campus with 250 places (125 for women and 125 for men) in three- and four-bedroom apartments. For the 2026-27 school year, rent is CA$415 per month on a 10-month lease, including internet, cable TV, heating, electricity and kitchenware. Residents must study full time; places are allocated by lottery from a waiting list, with priority for students admitted in the first round.
