The Cégep de Thetford is a French-language college (cégep) in the town of Thetford, Quebec, Canada, with a second campus in Lotbinière. It offers pre-university programmes, which can be taken over two or three years, and technical programmes that prepare students for a profession, as well as continuing education (AEC certificates).

Applications are submitted online through the SRACQ (Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec), where the application fee is paid. Applicants need a secondary school diploma (in Quebec, the DES) or equivalent, and some programmes have extra prerequisites such as a mathematics course.

Admission works in rounds: five for the autumn term and four for the winter term. Only one application, for one programme and one college, can be made per round. The decision is posted in the applicant's SRACQ file and announced by email.

Only one programme of tuition exemptions and scholarships exists for international students, shared among all Quebec cégeps, and its criteria change with each call for applications. Only students officially admitted for the coming intake who meet the criteria are invited to apply. The college advises that students must be able to finance their studies without counting on a scholarship or on work in Quebec.

The Cégep de Thetford offers more than 150 residence places, on campus and nearby. The on-campus residences have five buildings for 130 residents, divided into furnished apartments of two, three or four bedrooms with a kitchen and bathroom; electricity, heating and wifi are included. For the 2026-27 year, on-campus rent ranges from $315 to $630 per month, paid over 10 months. Contact: [email protected].
