The Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a French-language college (cégep) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada, near Montreal. It traces its origins to the Collège de Saint-Jean, founded in 1911. It has close to 3,300 students in 16 pre-university and technical programmes and close to 2,700 adults in continuing education, which is also offered at a campus in Brossard.
- Pre-university (5): natural sciences, science, computing and mathematics, social sciences, arts, letters and communication, visual arts
- Health: nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical laboratory technology
- Engineering and design: mechanical, electrical (programmable electronics), architecture, interior design
- Administration, agricultural business, computer science, social work
International students, mostly from Europe and Africa, are supported by a dedicated team that helps with procedures, housing and internships, and the student residence can accommodate them. They apply online through the regional admission service (SRAM) and most must pass a French test (Bright test, level C1). French nationals are exempt from the additional international tuition, and a limited number of exemptions are available for students in technical programmes. The cégep also hosts French interns and offers a French-language (francisation) programme.

Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents and did not attend secondary school in Quebec apply online to the regional admission service (SRAM), under international applications. For fall entry, the deadline is 14 March of the same year; for winter entry, 31 May of the previous year. Requirements:
- Eleven years of completed schooling, shown by an evaluation from the Quebec immigration ministry or SRAM
- Programme prerequisites
- Birth certificate and transcripts from the last three years of school
- French test result
- Certified translations of documents not in French or English
The cégep replies within three to eight weeks. Admission becomes final with the admission notice, the Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and a study permit; health insurance is required.
Students need a command of French sufficient for college studies. Applicants whose mother tongue or language of schooling is not French, or whose country of citizenship or birth is not France (or its territories) or Canada, must pass a French test accepted by SRAM. The college recommends the Bright test and requires level C1 (a score of at least 4.0). New students may be required to take a French reinforcement course.
All French nationals are exempt from the additional tuition fees for international students. The Quebec government grants a limited number of exemptions from these additional fees to international students admitted to technical programmes; the cégep selects candidates among students admitted by 15 January, based mainly on their academic record, and students cannot apply themselves. International students are not eligible for Quebec government financial aid.
