Collège de l'Île is a publicly funded French-language community college in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It has held this name and its official status as the province's French-language community college since 23 June 2008; its predecessor, La Société éducative de l'Î.-P.-É., was incorporated in 1993. The administration is in Wellington, and the main campus is on Kent Street in Charlottetown, with a satellite site at the Carrefour de l'Isle Saint-Jean. Courses can be followed on campus or through the Moodle/Teams distance-learning platform, although some courses require students to attend in person.

All programmes are taught in French and are designed for the local and Canadian job market. Some are offered in collaboration with the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB). Areas include:

  • Health: practical nursing, care aide, mental health
  • Business: business management and entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism management, administrative assistant, accounting technician
  • Education: early childhood education, teacher assistant
  • Social and environment: youth work, special education technician, renewable energy and environment
  • Continuing education

The college is small, which allows teachers to give students individual attention. It lists five scholarships, and the accelerated teacher-assistant programme is reserved for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Visits can be arranged by email at [email protected].
