Accepted students confirm their place by accepting the offer and paying a deposit by the stated deadline. Credential assessments from ICAS, the University of Toronto CES or WES may be requested.
All teaching is in English. Applicants whose first language is not English, or whose previous education was in another language, must submit a test result from the last 24 months. For most certificate and diploma programmes the minimum is:

Higher scores apply to some programmes (for example Paramedic, Practical Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technician) and to the BScN (IELTS 6.5); Duolingo is not accepted for health programmes or the BScN. Applicants from listed English-speaking countries are exempt. An English pathway is available through Seneca's English Language Institute.
