Admission Requirements

Requirements vary by programme; where Grade 12 (high school) graduation is required, applicants submit their diploma and transcripts, and anyone who has studied in Canada submits all Canadian post-secondary transcripts. Most programmes admit qualified applicants in order of application, while some use competitive selection. A flexible admissions policy may help applicants who do not meet the standard requirements. A tuition deposit secures the seat after an offer.

Language Requirements

English requirements vary by programme, from the equivalent of English 10 (IELTS Academic 5.5 with no band below 5.0, Duolingo 95, TOEFL iBT 50) to English 12 C+ (IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0, Duolingo 115, TOEFL iBT 80). CAEL, Cambridge B2 First or C1 Advanced and PTE Academic are also accepted. Scores are valid for two years. Students who do not meet the requirement can study in VCC's ESL programme or at the partner language school ILSC.
