Yukon University (YukonU) is a post-secondary institution in Canada's Yukon territory, focused on research and education relevant to the North. It has 13 campuses across the Yukon; the main Ayamdigut campus is in Whitehorse. Students can earn a bachelor's degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship, and the areas of study include:
- Business and leadership
- Science and northern environmental studies
- Social sciences and humanities, Indigenous governance
- Health, education and human services
- Northern mining, trades and apprenticeships
- Culinary arts
For international students, YukonU offers one-year certificates, two-year diplomas and a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as University Access Pathways and English as a Second Language as preparation. An international office supports applicants, and credit transfer agreements exist with colleges and universities in Canada and Alaska. Open Studies and online courses are also available. Campus housing is located next to the university core in Whitehorse. International applications for the Spring (May) 2027 and Fall (September) 2027 intakes are open.

Intakes vary by programme (Fall, Winter and/or Spring).
Each programme sets its own academic requirements, expressed as Canadian high-school courses (for example English 12 with at least 65% for most diplomas). Applicants who graduated from high school in Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, the USA or the UK submit an official transcript; others confirm eligibility through an English test and, where maths or science courses are required, an assessment or an evaluated transcript (IQAS is accepted). International applications for Spring (May) 2027 and Fall (September) 2027 are open; processing may take up to four weeks, and some programmes have early deadlines (March-May). Accepted students receive a Letter of Acceptance.
English proficiency can be shown with IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, Duolingo, PTE Academic or ILAC. Minimum scores depend on the programme:
- University Access Pathways and Advanced ESL: IELTS 5.0 (no band below 5.0), TOEFL iBT 45, Duolingo 85, PTE 32
- Culinary Arts, Office Administration: IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0), TOEFL iBT 59
- Multimedia Communication: IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5), TOEFL iBT 79
- Business Administration, Science, Visual Arts, Liberal Arts, Aviation Management: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 87, Duolingo 120, PTE 59
YukonU has campus housing at its Ayamdigut campus in Whitehorse. The buildings are next to the university core, a short walk from classes, campus facilities and student supports. All buildings have secured entrances, and the Safety & Security team is on campus 24/7. Students apply for campus housing online.
