The Cégep de Trois-Rivières is a cégep (college of higher education) in Trois-Rivières, Quebec (Canada), with two buildings, the Pavillon des Sciences and the Pavillon des Humanités. Like other cégeps, it offers two-year pre-university programmes and three-year technical programmes, both leading to the diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC). Three technology transfer centres link teaching with applied research in metallurgy, telecommunications and the paper and biorefining industry.
Technical programmes open to international students include:
- Dietetics and documentation
- Building mechanics, industrial engineering and industrial mechanics
- Civil engineering and programmable electronics
- Supply chain operations management
- Computer science and metallurgy
Every technical programme includes at least one work placement, and some can be taken as work-study. Applications go through the SRAM platform; applicants schooled outside France must submit a French test result. The Bureau international, which includes a regulated immigration consultant, helps with immigration, airport pick-up and a welcome week. The college runs student residences in seven buildings near its two pavilions.
