Queen's University is a research university in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, established in 1841 and a member of the U15 group of Canadian research universities. According to the university, it is ranked No. 179 in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and 4th globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Ratings for sustainable impact. Its graduation rate is 89%, and its faculty include 2015 Nobel physics laureate Arthur B. McDonald. Students come from more than 120 countries.
Queen's offers undergraduate and graduate programmes and postdoctoral fellowships in more than 235 academic areas across 53 departments, including:

The university also runs Bader College at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, United Kingdom. For international students, Queen's offers immigration and pre-arrival support, a residence guarantee, automatic scholarships for applicants with an average of 90% or higher, academic and career advising, an optional paid internship and support with the study permit and Post-Graduation Work Permit. Applicants who do not yet meet the English requirement may enter through the QBridge language pathway.

Applicants who did not study in an English-speaking country or whose first language is not English must prove proficiency (results valid for two years). Minimum undergraduate scores:
- IELTS Academic 6.5, no band below 6.0
- TOEFL 4.5 with no skill below 4.0 (88 with 20 in each section before January 2026)
- CAEL 70 (no band below 60); PTE Academic 60; Duolingo 120
- Cambridge English 175 (no component below 170); LanguageCert Academic 70 (none below 65)
Academically competitive applicants below these scores are assessed for QBridge: an 8-week summer Accelerated course (all programmes) or English for Academic Purposes (Arts and Science, Engineering).
International applicants with an average of 90% or higher receive automatic scholarships and awards, and various financial aid programmes support international and US students at Queen's. International students can also take an optional paid internship.
