The Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) is a French-speaking university in the province of Quebec, Canada. It has three campuses: the Main Campus and the Health Campus in Sherbrooke, and the Longueuil Campus in Montérégie. It has more than 33,000 students, plus 9,560 at its University of the Third Age, and more than 3,000 international students from 105 countries.
The university offers 487 programmes across eight faculties:
- Law and the École de gestion (business school)
- Education
- Engineering
- Arts and humanities (Lettres et sciences humaines)
- Medicine and health sciences
- Sciences and physical activity sciences
Undergraduate studies (1er cycle) include bachelor's degrees, certificates and short programmes; graduate studies include research and course-based master's degrees and doctorates. Many programmes follow a co-op model that alternates study terms with paid work placements. International applicants apply online, check the minimum grades required, and must obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) before studying in Canada. The International Student Services office (USherbrooke International) welcomes and advises international students.

Steps for international applicants:
- Check eligibility, international equivalences and the minimum grades required for applicants from outside Quebec
- Apply online, pay the application fee and send the documents required by the programme
- Receive the admission offer by email
- Confirm the offer and pay the deposit before 1 May for the autumn term or before 15 December for the winter term
- Obtain the Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and the documents needed to study in Canada
Tuition for international students (except students from France and French-speaking Belgium) for the Fall 2026 term, per 15-week trimester of full-time study (15 credits), including tuition and related fees:
- Undergraduate, arts, environment, humanities and education: CAD 11,975 (CAD 12,170 in programmes with co-op placements)
- Undergraduate, law, management, engineering, computer science, pure sciences, physical activity and health sciences: CAD 15,080 (CAD 16,070 with co-op)
A bachelor's admission scholarship of CAD 2,000 is deducted from first-term tuition for full-time students. A limited number of international students can be exempted from the higher international tuition.

- Excellence scholarships of CAD 5,000 to 7,500 awarded by faculties based on the academic record
- Paid co-op placements in some programmes (3 to 5 placements per programme)
