Ardmore Language Schools organises English language courses for young people aged 8 to 18 at centres across the UK and North America. The company was founded in 1984 by David Walker, has its UK office at Berkshire College in Burchetts Green and a US office in New York, and has been part of the education group Cognita since 2018. It is one of five companies in the Active Learning Group. Courses are open to individual students and groups.

Centres are mainly at boarding schools, colleges and universities, for example Berkshire College near Maidenhead, King's College in London, Shiplake College, the University of Bath, Cambridge University (hosted at Hughes Hall) and Napier University in Edinburgh. The programmes on offer differ from one centre to another. In the school integration programme, international students can live and learn alongside British students. According to Ardmore, students come from more than 30 countries; attendance is checked regularly and local 24/7 emergency numbers are provided during all courses.
