The Cégep de Jonquière is a public college (cégep) in Jonquière (Saguenay), in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada. It offers pre-university programmes (two years) and technical programmes (three years) leading to the DEC, plus the Tremplin DEC integration path.

Its technical programmes cover administration, applied arts and media (film and television, which the college says no other Quebec institution offers, journalism, radio, advertising, multimedia integration, 3D production), engineering technologies (building, electrical, industrial and mechanical engineering), chemistry and industrial processes, environment and occupational health and safety, urban planning, restaurant management, computer science, early childhood and special education, social work and nursing. Pre-university options include natural sciences, social sciences, arts, letters and communication, and science, computing and mathematics.

International students apply through the regional admission service SRASL (fee CAN$85 or €65), for the autumn session only. Applicants need the equivalent of eleven years of schooling (at least the French première). French passport holders pay no tuition under a France-Quebec agreement; other international students pay the province-wide international rates. The international office helps with admission and offers an accredited immigration adviser for the Quebec Acceptance Certificate. On campus, the Piékouagami residence has 212 rooms on 13 floors, open to students from other countries.

Admission Requirements

Applicants need the equivalent of a Quebec Secondary V (eleven years of schooling; at least the French première) plus any programme prerequisites. They apply online through the SRASL (international or out-of-Quebec section) for the autumn session only, paying CAN$85 or €65, with a valid passport, birth certificate, transcripts and diplomas for the last three years and, if needed, a language test. The application is independent of Parcoursup. Non-French international students receive a conditional letter and must pay the first session's tuition, registration fees and insurance within 30 days to get the final letter. Admitted students then obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate and a Canadian study permit (CAN$150), plus a co-op work permit for programmes with a compulsory internship.

Leases run for nine months; residents need home insurance with liability cover. Rooms for autumn 2026 were booked online from 13 April 2026, with a non-refundable deposit. The building is being renovated in 2026-27 and must be vacated in summer 2027; the college helps with temporary relocation.
