Dawson College is an English-language public college (cégep) in the centre of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, established in 1969. It has about 8,000 day students and 1,870 students in continuing education, and is the only college in the Quebec network directly accessible by metro (Atwater station, Green line).

Dawson offers 28 programmes: 6 pre-university programmes leading to university, 22 career (technical) programmes leading to the job market, plus continuing education with attestations of college studies (AEC), evening DEC programmes and the Springboard transition programme.

International applicants submit their transcripts for evaluation by the college (a non-refundable CAN$50 fee) or an equivalence attestation from Quebec's immigration ministry (MIFI). Applicants whose mother tongue or school language was not English must present an English test (for example IELTS Academic 6.0), and all applicants who did not study in Quebec must also show French at level B2 (DELF, TEF, TCF and others). Admitted students need a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), a study permit and their own health insurance. International students are only admitted to the winter semester if they already hold a CAQ and study permit naming Dawson. The college has no student residences; students arrange their own housing with limited help from Student Services.
